How do I get a POF desktop site? ›

Go to www.POF.com. Click on "Menu" (top left corner) Scroll to the bottom and select "Switch to desktop site"

Hidden accounts won't be shown in public areas of the app (Meet Me, Matches, Online), but you will be able to continue to chat with members that you have previously liked or currently connecting with.

How do I log in or sign up? If you have a Plenty of Fish account, use your existing username and password to log in. If you are new to Plenty of Fish, tap click "Sign Up Now" and follow the steps. It only takes a few minutes to create an account and get started!

Just go to pof.com, click "Search" at the top and enter their username. Their profile should pop right up, allowing you to view their photos, location, interests and when they were last active on the site. Having a username is one of the best ways to find someone's POF profile without creating your own account.

POF features & tokens

If you are an upgraded member, you can see who was curious enough to look through your profile. People who viewed your profile are now shown under Interested in Me. If you're an upgraded member, you'll be able to see a complete list of when each person views you.

You can allow anyone to view you or to hide your profile from everyone. If you view another member's profile while your profile is hidden, our system still registers that you were there. So once you are unhidden, your profile will appear in their "Who's Viewed Me" section. But not until then.

Can you go incognito on POF? ›

After you select the "Edit Profile" link, at the top of the page you will see a line of text that reads, "To hide your profile from others, click here." Go ahead and click this link. This will hide your profile, and you will no longer appear in the search results of other POF users.

“When the profile is hidden, it will not show as online to other members unless you are accessing the account. Your profile will be hidden as long as you sign in again. When you sign in again, the profile will show as online and will be visible to others.”

Blocking another member means they won't be able to message you anymore and you won't be seeing them in any of your matches (ie in MeetMe). If you block someone who's an upgraded member, they'll still be able to search for you using our username search, but they won't be able to send you any messages.

Your username is your official POF identity. It's publicly displayed on your profile and visible to all other members, so you want to make sure it's a catchy one! It's a good idea to go with a nickname or an abbreviated version of your name to ensure you're not giving away too much information about yourself upfront.
