What is the perfect magic deck ratio? ›

For a ratio on how many of each card type to include in a deck, you're looking at about 36 playables like creatures and spells to 24 lands. Of those 36 playables you should split it down the middle between creatures and spells.

On your decks' page, press the "More" button and choose "Update to Cheapest". Moxfield will ask if you are sure and you should press continue. Once done, Moxfield will update the deck to use the cheapest TCGPlayer pricing. Remember to "Update to Cheapest" every now and then to make sure your deck is legal.

This works for both Global and Local Tags. You can not remove tags in the bulk edit view, as that would mean you would remove tags if you remove a card in it. But you are able to add them there. The easiest way to remove tags in mass is through the settings/tags interface.

A regular deck needs a minimum of 60 cards. While the maximum is technically infinite, a player must be able to shuffle satisfactorily within the normal time frame; this puts the upper bound to something around 250 cards.

In a forty card deck, that means at least 16 land cards. If your important cards are five drops, and you want to play them on turn five, you need five lands in your first eleven cards – or 45% land. That means you need slightly over 18 lands in your deck.

Everything we make on Moxfield works on any device or screen size. We will also be releasing a native mobile app for Android and iOS. The app will mostly be a wrapper for the website, with some additional native capabilities like push notifications.

if your deck lacks searchable tools or uses too much extra deck space in a simple 40 card deck then I personally avoid going to 60. Most decks I run 40 cards because the game hates me so I don't want to rely on drawing grass or ishizu cards to make my deck function.

What's the Right Draft Deck Ratio? Generally, 17 lands and 23 nonlands is the suggested land-spell ratio. Of course, more aggressive decks can run 16 lands, and slower decks may wish to go to 18 lands. Extreme edge cases may warrant going outside of these boundaries, but that is quite rare.
