How long does it take to complete Melvor? ›

Melvor Idle is not a game to finish quickly, or even a game that can be finished quickly. Some players have sunk thousands of hours into idly progressing through every inch of its content, and you're best to start with the expectation that it could be months before you finish.

Early Game Goal

Typically players will choose to level Woodcutting, Mining, or Fishing first, because they are a great starting point for several progression routes and also have some Money Making strategies associated with them.

A potential 130 hitpoints can be gained from Agility obstacles (see the section on Agility for details). This gives a maximum of 1160 hitpoints.

Fishing can be quite profitable early, At level 80 you can fish for 'Raw Magic Fish' which sells for 960g.

The base game has a maximum skill and Mastery level of 99, with the Throne of the Herald Expansion the skill level maximum is increased to 120.

When focusing on the main objectives, Bugsnax is about 7½ Hours in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 14½ Hours to obtain 100% completion.

These skills are factored in when calculating the player's combat level, which is an approximation of the player's power. Players start at combat level 3 and can reach a maximum of combat level 126 ( 153), while monsters range from combat level 1 to 1300.
