Crock Pot Creamy Ranch Chickenis one of my favorite creamy crock pot chicken recipes.
If you love Ranch dressing and chicken this is going to be a winner!
I loved the way the Crock Pot Creamy Italian Chicken recipe turned out a few weeks ago so much that I had to try it with a packet of ranch dressing to see if it would taste as good.
It does! The Crock Pot Creamy Ranch Chicken recipe tastes just as good as the Creamy Italian Chicken did.
The boneless chicken breast absorbed the ranch flavor and the chicken turned out so moist and tender.
That's why I love cooking in the crock pot so much. No matter what type of meat you cook in a crock pot it turns out moist and tender.
By now you know I love chicken crock pot recipes.
I hope you aren't getting sick of all of my chicken crock pot recipes. I promise to share some beef crock pot recipes in the coming weeks.
Crock Pot Chicken Recipes
It's just that I love chicken so much more than I do beef.
AND I can't believe that chicken is so much cheaper than beef these days.
The price of ground beef these days is unbelievable! It's almost $10 a pound for ground beef here. OMG!!!!
It used to be that a person living on a tight budget could depend on serving ground beef to their family.
It was cheap and you could really stretch a meal when you needed to. Not anymore. I really don't know how many families are managing theses days with the prices of food.
Believe me, I ate a lot of spaghetti with meat sauce when I was a kid.
My mom was a single mother with 3 kids to feed. Ground beef was something we ate a lot of.
Are you as shocked as I am over the price of ground beef these days?
So besides the fact that the prices are astronomical for beef, I prefer chicken these days.
I will be sharing morebeef crock pot recipes when I catch beef on sale.

I have fixed this recipe several times and LOVE it. I live alone, so when I make it, (after enjoying a meal of it) I divide it into individual servings and freeze it for future meals. My question is...sometimes the chicken breasts I buy are large, sometimes they're smaller. Can you give me an idea of how much chicken to use by weight? 1 1/2 lbs? 2 lbs? Thank you in advance. I love your recipes!!

I'm so happy to hear you love the recipe! It is also one of my favorites. I love having leftovers to freezer for meals through out the month. Makes dinner time so much easier when the freezer is packed with ready to go meals. 4 chicken breast halves weight about 2 pounds give or take a few ounces. Thank you!

Can we use regular prepared ranch from a bottle instead of the packet? if so, how much?

For this particular recipe, I would stick with the envelope of Ranch dressing. That is how I make it so I can say for sure how it would turn out.

I really like this recipe! I'm going to have to try it along with the Italian recipe you have. I actually just made a recipe that involves chicken and a pack of ranch, too! When I post it, I'll link back here, too. Thanks again!
