  1. #6 Best Community Colleges in PennsylvaniaCommunity College of PhiladelphiaPhiladelphia, PA·2 Year·Rating 3.71 out of 5 1,063 reviewsSophom*ore: The Community College of Philadelphia is a great school, with passionate professors who really want to see every student succeed. Classmates have been consistently kind and eager to help classmates in class, the library, or via messages. There are many resources to help find childcare, clothe students, give students nutritious vegetables (fresh from the community college), free tutors, and even help filing taxes! Unfortunately, the cafeteria is atrocious and only open until 2pm, and most resources are only available from 8am-5pm which means night students are not able to take advantage of these phenomenal opportunities. The common spaces are always clean, but unfortunately the library is often one of the loudest spaces in the school. Before attending, I was nervous to re-enroll, but after interacting with the compassionate, inspiring professors, I now look forward to each new semester.... 3. #7 Best Community Colleges in PennsylvaniaMontgomery County Community College - Blue BellBlue Bell, PA·2 Year·Rating 3.93 out of 5 642 reviewsFreshman: Personally, my experience has been motivating and professional with everyone attending the college. It can be difficult to connect as a lot of the students don't often speak or collaborate but the ones that do prioritize these skills are not hard to find. Professors encourage students to use their resources, make appointments, join organizations, and answer any questions needed whether it be personal or academic.... 6. Harcum CollegeBryn Mawr, PA·2 Year·Rating 3.73 out of 5 284 reviewsFreshman: This is only my first semester, but so far it has been good. I transferred in credits, so I started the Vet Nursing Program in the Spring. Only 5 other people started at the same time as me. It's good working with a small group of people because we communicate more than we would in a larger class. I'm not as scared to ask them questions since we started this journey together and we see each other every day, several times a day. I'd like to see a change in security--having an ID isn't required. You do need an ID to access library materials and eating at the cafeteria. But that's about all I know. How would the school know who belongs in the building?... 9. Dawn Career InstituteNewark, DE·2 Year·Rating 4 out of 5 2 reviewsCollege Senior: So far my overall experience at Dawn has been great. After requesting information someone called me back and if I was busy when they called they would ask for a better time to call and actually call me back unlike some other colleges that I had contacted. They were also very prompt in contacting me initially. During my enrollment process I have been contacted and felt welcome by the staff and the same person contacts me every time, love that. It sort of helps to build a sense of rappot between myself and the staff....
